Thank you to volunteer roofers!

This past Saturday a team of Capilano RFC members rebuilt part of the roof at the Capilano Rugby Club. The roof over top of Tim’s residence was fully stripped, sheeted with plywood, and shingled again. Work started at 7:00am with the job getting done after 5:00pm. Capilano Rugby Summer Touch 2017

The Summer Touch League starts tonight at Fen Burdett in North Vancouver. Tonight will be a reintroduction to the game and registration. It will be a good chance to get back into it before we start the schedule next week. The season will run for 4 weeks on Wednesday’s and 6 weeks on Thursday’s. Continue »

BC Rugby League 9′s Tournament at Klahanie tomorrow

The Capilano Cougars Rugby League team looks to defend its BC 9′s Tournament Championship tomorrow at Klahanie. The full schedule is shown in the picture above. The Cougars will be playing round robin games at 11:25am, 12:30pm, and 1:45pm. There will also be a Touch exhibition game and two Women’s Rugby League exhibition games. Continue »

Klahanie hosts three high-school playoff games on Thursday afternoon

Four North Shore High Schools will be playing tomorrow afternoon at Klahanie Park. This triple header will feature Sentinel, Argyle, Handsworth, and Carson Graham. These four teams are competing in the Lower Mainland Quarterfinals. The NZ Shield Final is scheduled for next Thursday (May 18) at Brockton Oval. ‘Killer’ 3Bs win BC title, 2nd div. women finish 2nd at BCRU finals

The Capilano 3B’s defeated Squamish in a hard fought 12-5 victory last weekend in Abbotsford. The other Capilano RFC team in action was the 2nd Division Girls.
