Women’s Rugby League World Cup
The Canada Ravens Women’s Rugby League team plays its first game in Australia for the Rugby League World Cup. Four Capilano members are on Team Canada. Currently Premier Women’s players Andrea Burk, Christina Burnham, and Gillian Boag are joined on the team by previous Capilano player Mandy Marchak. Continue »
A great day of rugby today at Klahanie Park! First of all thanks to Chris Robinson for pinch hitting last week at James Bay. I couldn’t make the trip and Chris did an excellent job on the report, which isn’t easy when you are playing in the top division. Chris has been with the Cap Premiers since the last Rounsfell Cup win in 2012, a classic game against James Bay. Continue »

Five Capilano Sr. teams were in action last weekend. The Premier Men and Premier Women were both victorious in Victoria. The 3rd Division Men also came out on top over Richmond at home. There will be three games at Klahanie Park on Saturday November 11, 2017. The Coffeemate Cup will kick off at 12:45pm on the Bob Spray Field. This club tradition sees the Snowcaps play against the 3rd Division. Club members who are available to play are invited to come down and put the boots on for this Capilano Remembrance Day tradition. The Capilano Premier Women travelled to Seattle on the weekend. They were defeated 52-12 by a strong Seattle team playing at home. The Caps Women travelled with 17 players with the 2nd Division team playing in a different location. The Premier Women travel to Victoria this coming weekend to take on CW. Continue »

The Capilano Women continue their winning ways! The Caps men had a rough day but the Premier Men make their point (1 bonus) and hopefully a statement for the future, in a close loss to a somewhat depleted but still tough Burnaby Lake side. Continue »
