The Jimmy Morris Scholoarshi Fund is proud to oversee a $1,000 educational bursary for which any club member currently enrolled in post-secondary education may apply.

Applicants must possess the qualities Jimmy Morris admired and displayed during his lifetime, including:

Strength of Character
Honesty
A Positive Attitude
Strong Physical & Mental Balance
Dedication to Her/His Community

Interested club members are invited to submit their resumes of 500 words or less (along with a teacher's supporting letter) by March 31st, 2008 to:

See below how past winners of The Jimmy Morris Scholarship have excelled:

Chris Burk	Winning the bursary provided Chris with greater freedom to continue in school, as well as less stress and dependancy on family. Chris has a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinisiology from SFU and is currently pursuing his Masters degree in Physio Theraphy at Queen's University in Kingston, Ont.
Kate Pakaluk	Kate was very appreciative of the bursary and is presently pursuing a Teaching degree at SFU
Erika Smortchevsky	Erika found the bursary to be a great help while attending school and has been working as a fund raiser for Health Programmes with Providence Health Care over the past couple of years
Rob McCall	Rob used the bursary to cover the rising costs of books and tuition. Rob recently completed his studies, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography from SFU
Laura Elwood	Laura was able to use the bursary to help pay for her flight to New Zealand where she had a fabulous time improving her rugby skills and meeting new friends
