The Capilano Rugby Club Mini/Youth are hosting a TRY Rugby event this weekend. From 10:00am to 12:00pm on Sunday March 31, kids of all ages are invited to Klahanie Park (Map) to experience the game of rugby in a Safe, Welcoming & Fun atmosphere.
The TRY Rugby event is a non-contact rugby session held as an introduction to the game for participants of any age. These events are typically flag rugby introductory session (Rookie Rugby) or small jamborees for potential players who are new to the game and want to try it out.
The rugby played at a TRY Rugby event is different to what you see on televised games. There is no contact between players and the emphasis is on fun, enjoyment, ball handling skills, socializing, and exercise. It is a great way for young people to get a first taste of the wonderful sport of rugby.
There will be pancakes and hot chocolate available for all the participants.
Please invite any kids who would be interested in this event to attend this Sunday. Share and forward this email on to any interested groups. We hope to see a large turnout of kids at Klahanie Park this Sunday!
