CRFC news and notes March 8

Match Reports
Six Capilano RFC senior teams were in action last weekend. The Capilano 1st Division Men and Premier Men defeated the Vancouver Rowing Club at Brockton. The mighty 3B’s defeated Ridge Meadows. Both Sr. Women’s teams were defeated by Cowichan and Comox while the 3A U23 Academy team was defeated by the Rowing Club. John Langley provided the match reports which can be found by clicking here.

Caps in action on Friday March 10
Lots of Capilano RFC players will be action this Friday before the Vancouver 7’s. The Capilano Men and the Snowcaps have entered teams into the Vancouver Rugby Festival. The Men will be playing in the Open 7’s Division at UBC while the Snowcaps will be in the Old Boys Tournament at Connaught. The Caps 7’s are set to play at 9:06am, 10:34am, and 12:46pm. The Bronze medal match would be at 3:20pm and the Final would take place at 4:05pm. There will also be many Capilano RFC players playing on the different teams in other divisions for both Senior and Junior Rugby. The Capilano RFC Men will also be hosting Terrace at 4:30pm at Klahanie Park. All Capilano supporters are encouraged to attend and the clubhouse will be open during and after the game.

GA for Canada 7’s
There will be a large group of Capilano RFC members planning to sit in Section 411 this weekend at BC Place for the Canada 7’s for those with General Admission tickets.
