The Capilano Sr. Men have organized a Movember fundraiser this year. There are two categories. CLEAN SHAVEN and THE RUNNING START. $20 to enter either competition. Half of each pot goes to winner, other half to Men’s Health Fundraising. All entrants please send a selfie to Rich Merinsky at 778-984-0027. Please include your first and last name with the picture. A panel of Snowcap judges will select the winners at the end of the month. Please spread the word as this goes towards a great cause.

Poppy Tagging
The West Van Legion are looking for volunteers to help with this years Poppy fundraising. As now there are fewer veterans able to do this. All that is needed is for anybody that has a couple of hours of time to go to the Legion on 18th and Marine in West Vancouver, they will instruct you on what to do.We have over 100 members so we should be able to get a good turn out, all I ask is you wear something Capilano. Soup and sandwich is served after. You can do this anytime between now and Nov 10th, afternoons or evenings. Its not what Veterans did for you, Its what you can do in return. Thanks in advance for your help. Cheers TIM
